Last Friday 3 intrepid Kennet Radio presenters braved 800+ degree coals to raise money for Marie Curie.
Jason Palmer, Steve Prout and Chris Capel undertook the challenge along with 21 others at Newbury Rugby Club. After having Fiona from Marie Curie as a guest on their shows they immediately signed up for the challenge. After an hour induction they were ready to head outside where a 20 foot path of hot coals was waiting for them.
I felt a bit emotional just before I set foot on the coals.

The evening was a great success with over £11,000 being raised for Marie Curie. With Jason raising over £5000 himself.
The trio are now actively looking for their next challenge!!
