Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in City Recreation Ground, Newbury
At approximately 5.30pm on Sunday 25 April 2021, the victim was walking home with his electric scooter from the City Recreational Ground in Newbury. The victim was walking along the alleyway between the park and Buckingham Road, Newbury, when they were pushed from behind. The offender stole the victim’s Xiaomi MiPro 2 electric scooter. The scooter is black with grey deck and orange trim on the handlebars.
The offender is described as a teenage boy, approximately 5ft 8ins tall, stocky upper build with thin legs. He was wearing a full black or navy tracksuit (possibly Nike) with the hood up.
