Newbury Community Resource Centre would very much appreciate donations of unneeded bikes.
The centre refurbish such bikes in their local workshop, then sell them.
Proceeds from the bike sales help to support their training services for disadvantaged adults and young people in our local area.
Newbury Community Resource Centre is a registered charity that encompasses the Community Furniture Project and other local community activities.
Unneeded bikes can dropped off at the Community Furniture Project in Bone Lane, Newbury (opening hours Mon – Sat, 9am – 12.30 and 1.30 – 5pm) or at their Collection Point at the Newtown Road Recycling Centre (open daily, 9am – 6pm). Their phone number is 01635 43933.
